Any tips for fixing sagging turn signals?

My 1982 CSR650 has the original turn signals and due to age they are sagging no matter how I tighten them up.

Any common suggestions or tips on how to fix that ?

Stack a few more rubber washers behind the nut came to mind.

The rubber dampers that support the signals are still available brand new from Kawasaki for good prices.

While we are at it, I want to change my ape style bars for euro or sport bike style. By doing so, have to move the front turn signals to the head lamp bracket. Where can I find them?

Ninja guy, my guess is that Nessism has the correct solution, but also check to make sure the stems aren't bent. One of mine was, but my motorcycle was in a low speed crash.

Polish, you can install turn signal bracket stems in place of the big headlight bolts & reuse the turn signals >> just remove the turn signals from the handlebar brackets. KZ400 stems or Honda CB750 stems from the 70s are a good match (other Honda models probably use the same stems).

I installed aftermarket KZ stems and cut off the tiny grounding rings & installed 10mm rings to fit around the stems. plus I used a pair of the rear dampers w the diamond shaped opening. grounding rings >> auto parts store. K&S stems >> Z1Enterprises.

You could reverse left and right stems.
I have had no success with aftermarket stems. Some are so soft the turn signals bounce around when riding. Others are a hard plastic that provide no cushioning at all.

The stems are the metal stalks where the turn signals are attached. The oem Kawasaki rubber dampers are still available from the dealer. Partzilla has them. I would get new oem dampers. And for new stems I would try to get oem Kawasaki or Honda. The K&S work fine, but the chrome isn't that great.
