i hear ya, my rear is 17x6
6 is nice, but a little too wide for my taste. Most of the sportbikes run 5's and 5.5's, so that's what I went with.
Where did you get a 17x6?

I'm 99.9% sure it's a 5.5" wheel. VERY FEW sportbikes run a 6". The only one I can think of is a few years of the R1 IIRC. And possibly he RC51.

the worn out tire came on it, fine for mock up and a few test runs... i didnt measure it, but its stamped (or cast, 1 of the 2) right where it says enkei as 17 x 6Did you measure it before you put the tire on it?
