Jacwal ? Fairing was created by dgfischer
Heres a picture of a fairing that I got at an auction. I've been told that it is a Jacwal (Jakwal, Jacwall) fairing. I have seen only 1 of these before and the fairing should have an upper part that attaches to the handlebars and turns with the handlebars. Does anyone have this top peice or have any information on this fairing? Any web sites or pictures? I have no info on this thing and would like some.Yes it is an ugly fairing and it will go on a Honda Goldwing (not on a Kaw).
Thanks,
Daniel

Wow, you weren't kidding about ugly! It looks like some television propmaster dreamed it up for a cheesie 70s superhero's bike.

I did a little research and came up with these pics of the Jacwal Superwedge fairing on an LTD750:

Took me a while, but if you look closely you can see a bike under all that stuff. Whears the extra large cup holder for my Big Gulp?

I can't get over how hideous the thing is. I don't mean to offend or anything, but this fairing has a certain... special ugliness about it.

Like a Citroen: I'm sure it works really well, I just can't look at it without laughing...

That's what that thing is!!! I saw one of these about a month ago and it was mounted on a 1978 GS1000. The bike was at a local bike show (99.0% HD) and people were walking up to it, but not getting too close, as if the fairing was somehow contagious. I waited by the bike for a while for the owner to show up, as I wanted to ask him about the bike/fairing...now I know. Hope you got a good price on it.

Yes, I got it for a steal ($1) at an auction where a local bike shop went out of business. Got a bunch of stuff at "stolen" prices.
I would like to find the top part to it to mount it on a 77 Goldwing. I like the unusual bikes and bits and this fairing is very unusual.
GG, thanks for the links. The wife showed me that if I go to google then search, I get better searches instead of just doing a search and having Lycos come up (lame search engine).
Thanks again,
Daniel
