I’m looking at buying an extra seat for a custom setup. The listing on this seat was for a 1980 KZ750 and for some reason had KZ650 and KZ1000 just written at the end of the listing. The more I look at it, the more I think that it’ll fit my 98 Police, but I’m not 100% sure. Does anyone have any experience with this particular situation? Thanks.
Chris

i have a useable seat pan for a 1000 and a complete seat for an 1100 spectre if you want i can get pics with a tape measure on them so you can judge better if they will fit

As I've heard tell over on the Yahoo KZP Group, a seat from an '82 LTD is a *pop the pins and swap* - fit for the P model machines...

I bought a seat from someone on here off of a kz1000 and it was a perfect fit on my 1991 KZ000 Police bike. To me, it's a lot more comfortable because it's narrower. You don't feel like your riding a horse.
