89 GPX6 meets 87 police bike...updated with some photos was created by Duck
Acquired as possible fork and swing arm donor to 87 police bike
Active imagination so, for grins and experience, may try to fit the police motor in this frame.
Worst case, I won't be able to cram it in there and will proceed with swap to police frame.
Now how to get it in?
I'm thinking the front and bottom tube section has to go. It's just too tight. Then get sprockets lined up and rear of engine copacetic with swing arm and weld on some tabs for rear mount. Next replace front tubes to clear pipes, either inside or out and weld tabs for front two motor mounts.
Some crude dimensional data via tape scale in photos. Suggestions?
