I have seen a 750 and 900/1000 engines put in but never a ZX600. Anything is possable. How does the engine width compare? Will the ZX engine's lower crankcase fit between the frame?
I'm gonna check that today. I have to carry my KZ frame out to the garage to do some comparisons. lol

The ZX600A Engine is SMALLER than the KZ Engine is. SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER!
You know what that means? A little fabrication and a LOT of measuring and one could put this engine into a KZ frame.
Now my gears are turning in my head again.
:silly:

What are you going to put in the ZX frame if you put the ZX motor in the KZ frame?
Why did you go get that beautiful KZ motor if you're not going to use it?

Just brainstorming. lol
I'd put the KZ into another KZ of course. Perhaps one with a blown engine that is a gonner. It would save a life of a KZ.

yeah i know that the 900 , and 1000 fit with a change in the location of the front lower mounts and some different spacers, but if the zx600 is smaller there should be plenty of room , its just a matter of how good you are at fab and welding and having access to a lathe helps alot too.
Fab
Check.
Welding
Check.
Lathe
Check. (Whole damn machine shop soon. haha)
I dunno if I'd do it though. Justin will kill me. haha
You should see it though. I checked it against the frame, and there's a LOT of room in there. I didn't know the ZX was that much more compact.

well, you have eliminated so much surface area since it is liquid cooled I would think a larger displacement zx powerplant would fit nicely...
As soon as you put a larger displacement ZX powerplant in my garage I will use it! hehehe:woohoo:
