the coils just died in the z1, so i ordered 3.0 ohm dyna coils and dyna wires. im still running points but im going to put in the electronc ignition oneday. how do the dyna coils plug into the wiring ( the 2 male and female connectors on each coil)? 3.0 ohm coils are ok for a 74 z1 900 right?

You will get a wiring diagram with the coils. The dyna setup uses a funky bayonette crimp for the power (I think) wire. You really should put a decent connector or solder that connection.

Listen to ltdrider, throw away the blue (Dyna S right?) connector and solder the connection! I used that connector and started randomly dropping cylinders on and off. Drve me nuts trying to figure that out. Wiredgeorge came to the rescue! Have not had a single problem since.
