The breather filter for emissions that normally goes into the airbox...if the airbox is removed and replaced with pods, where does this line go? does it just spew out into the air?

You put a short piece of hose with a filter on it.

On my Z1 I just attached a K&N brand small filter. As long as your engine is in good shape no problems.
If you have ring issues.. you will get oil blow by
"smoke" out of the filter.
I used a REAL K&N not a cheaper knock off brand. You do get what you pay for!
There's a guy on eBay that sells REAL K&N oil breather filters all the time for about $20.00 to your door. At least the two I bought are..
( money99kz ) is his ebay name. Item # 4575710105

money99kz is a friend. His name is Brian Connell and he buys bikes and breaks them down but won't sell bad or junk parts. He keeps his word... He lives on Long Island. Don't hesitate to buy from money99kz! Tell him I recommended him highly!

Ive seent the breather hoses attatched to the rear of the pods. The end of the pods were drilled and had a 90 degree elbow that the breather was attached to.

Did you know that Brian is a commercial fisherman by day and a motorcycle parts guy by night? Geesh I would think that the fisherman job would be a backbreaker by itself.

I didn't know that about him. I just knew that in the five or so years I have bought things from him, he has NEVER failed to tell me if there is the smallest problem with something, give me a more than fair price on a item, or stand behind anything he says or sells:) :) :)
Kind'a like Jeff;)
