Thanks for answers .I have been thinking more about the dribling fuel out of synch rubber boots.The boots are sitting at about 4- 5 o clock not at 6
i mean they are not at the center bottom.Doesent that mean that it has to be a little more fuel in there than expected?
Yesterday i rode for about 2 hours and did a plugcheck as i have done many times lately. I found these fuel mixture screws very sensitive.
It takes only 5 minutes turn to go from lean and popping in exhaust to very rich .I mean if it is lean and then turn the screw only 5 minutes out it is very rich and sot the plugs.I think i have dialed in the mixturescrews now and it runs good quick responce giving it throttle and pulls good no bog sound .But yesterday i was riding up to a place at 600meters over sea level that has steep uphill .The engine ran fine then but when going dowhill again
it started popping a little with closed throttle.This only happens when going downhill with closed throttle. Maybe the main jet needle emulosion tubes is worn because
the mixture screws was worn and i replaces them last winter.It was a mistake that i did not checked the emulosion tubes and needles.They are probably worn.
The plan is or should i say was to try to rise the jet needle clips to get them to seal better when closed throttle. I think it may be a challenge to lower the needles when carbs sitting in bike because then it is difficult to get the slides to sit in the same position (synched after lowering the needles.)
I then will have to make markings and count turns on the screws up at the shaft holding the slides.
I will keep an eye on the oil level and look if it is rising ,because then there is way to much fuel at some point after stopping the bike or at idle.
For now i just ride the bike and check the carbs again next winter.
I tried to synch the carbs again and it is not possible the right way with the motion pro tool i have.If i connect all 4 hoses the fluid gets sucked in to engine at low idle.So i just connected the main calibrating hose from the tool and connected one carb in order.That way one carb has to pull on all 4
straws on the tool.The carbs are pulling the same amount of vacuum this way so did not made any adjustments. I will try to find some air restriction
valves and put on the hoses or buy a morgan carbtool later.

Fuel in the rubber vac caps is normal.
They are subject to vacuum when the engine is running and once the engine stops the negative pressure draws in any fuel mixture that is in the inlet tract.
Their vertical or horizontal position doesn't affect the amount fuel mixture they will draw in and unless the manifolds were mounted 180 degrees with the caps pointing upwards they will always hold fuel for a while until it evaporates.
As for the emulsion tubes, they are not subject to wear so won't need replacing and unless the carbs have done a million miles the needles and needle jets shouldn't have suffered enough wear to be significant.

Okay Zed1015 and you other guys thanks for clarifying Then its normal. Im used to carbs that have the synch nipple sitting on top so that is why i have not seen any fuel dripping out before.Fuel in the rubber vac caps is normal.
