I found an airbox - my bike came to me with pods- do I need to buy this top piece (photo example attached) as well?
I planned on buying the new rubber boots - do I need anything else ?

Yes you do need it!
It actually clamps the air-filter element into the air-box, and provides some sort of "resonant" tuning of the intake....
I designed and 3D printed one...
