Looking for airscrew part was created by crewzzn88
Hello, I love this site!

I'm looking for the the small rubber o-ring that goes on the airscrew shaft. Mines are all worn. My bike is a 1979 KZ650 SR, VM24SS Mikuni's with a accel. pump.

Thanks!

While the Harbor Freight o-ring kits are made of nitrile and will hold up fine, I wouldn't use them for either the pilot fuel mixture screws or air mixture screws as the SAE sizes tend to be too thick when the ID is large enough to fit over either type screw and as a consequence, don't fit correctly. I have several Harbor Freight kits but use the correct o-rings for replacement when doing rebuilds as sealing the air mixture screws or pilot fuel mixture screws is ESSENTIAL for a good seal. The o-rings in the Harbor Freight kit work great for other purposes where an air seal isn't needed. Harbor Freight makes a metric o-ring kit and these are a bit more useful than the SAE sized kit with the funky R-0 to R-16 sizes (something like that anyway).
