Can someone direct me to a proper clutch basket holder? I searched the site, google, and several retailers, no dice. Ive already paper weighted one inner basket.

Here's what the genuine, official, Kawasaki, non-homemade, actual part number 57001-119 clutch holding tool looks like (see pic). I have one because I saw it dirt cheap several years ago on eBay (about $7). It is literally 2 steel clutch plates welded together with an offset handle welded onto them. As others suggested, it would be very simple to fabricate if you have a couple clutch plates, some scrap metal, and a friend with a welder. Ed

If you don't have a welder, drill three or four holes through the plates and bolt them together. Whip up some sort of handle and bolt it on.

I gave the last one I made to a mate a while back.

I used to be playswithnitro but; it happens...

That tool leaves me wondering. How can it fit into the clutch basket with the handle being in the same plane as the clutch plates? It seems to me that unless the handle is offset like the Kawasaki tool the handle would prevent the rest of the tool from sliding into the basket. Ed

It works fine. It grabs about 3/4 of the basket. I actually used mine last night to torque the hub nut.

Oh, I see now. It slips through the slots in the outer diameter of the basket. Cool. Ed
