4-2-1 exhaust for a 1979 KZ1000 was created by Vorbeck
Are any companies making a 4-2-1 exhaust currently for the old KZs or does any one have one for sale?

Apart from the Hindle 4-2-1 the Delkevic and others are plain 4 into 1 systems.

The OP wants a 4 into 2 into 1 system..

I can testify that the Delkevic exhaust, while inexpensive, is really nice.

Is this thing working? Is this thing on?

The OP wants a 4 into 2 into 1 system..

Is the Hindle really effectively a 4-2-1? The pictures I can find are not super clear, but I looks like there is a very short "2-1" section, maybe just 2" long? I'm skeptical that this would offer substantially different performance than a 4-1 with similar tube diameter and length.

The exhaust tuning parameters are specific to each engine, but looking at the 4-2-1 headers for the Honda B18 engine, the 4-2 and the 2-1 sections are roughly the same length.

I'm sure the Handle are nice, but it's hard to believe the performance would be substantially different.

Motogpworks / Patriot Racing is another source for stainless exhausts.

Yes it is a true 4 - 2 - 1 and the sections are much longer than 2 inch.

There is also the option of this MAC Tri 'Y' 4-2-1 from Niche Cycle at $335 but it doesn't include a silencer.

The Bull Dock system listed at Webike claims to be internally 4-2-1, which I reckon means there is a baffle near the collector.

Check out that prototype muffler on the back peg wall, very short sections right into the can. I guess it hurt HP, he does have a in house chassis dyno for tuning pipe lengths. A top notch designer and fabricator!
