Looked at a rough 76 KZ900 today that had LH muffler 4-1, could not see any markings, maybe Denco? Any others exit on left side?

Back in the day J&R made a copy of the 900/1000 Kerker pipe except it exited on the left side of the bike.
After 40 or so odd years my memory is a little fuzzy but I do kinda recall it being on the left side of bike.....
Its the very same J&R that made the expansion chambers for the Kawasaki triples.

There are a lot of pipes sold/made out of the UK that exit on the LH side, seems to be popular over there. Maybe something to do with kick start lever clearance?

Agree left hand Alpha systems from the UK were good sounding and working systems, In the past there was a long topic/post here that had lots of pics of different exhaust systems, but it appears that most of the pics have been removed at some point, Anyway here is a link to the post.

Didn't go as planned. Bike has been sitting in a shed since probably mid 2000's, kryptonite type wheel fork lock with no key, fork locked with no keys to bike. Never saw so many rodent droppings and nest, even the engine was covered in nest and dead small animal remains all around it, really disgusting. Everything had some rust and engine covers and block looked white from oxidation. Can't imagine there's anything left to wiring. Good news one owner with title, engine turns over. No air box or original exhaust, but extra original paint tank in decent shape outside inside needs work but not soft anywhere. Owner passed recently and needs to be removed, I'm thinking of asking young guy across the street to cut off the locks and power wash nest off for couple of hundred bucks and give it another go.

Steering lock is only one small flat head to remove the cylinder fron the lower triple. You can remove the front wheel and set forks on a dolly. Might be a jem in disguise.

Hanger looks correct for a Denco. It would be there monocone pipe. If that the bike you claimed sat it looks pretty nice
