Could be a 76 KZ 1000 A1 with a 72/73 Z1 European only green/yellow color set.
The marked parts that indicated, (missing/different), it is a KZ 1000 .
A 73 Z1 European rebuild project.

That frame is a 76 kz900 LTD. The giveaway is the mounting plate for the rear master cylinder, on the rear leg of the middle triangle. I don't know of any other year or model with that kind of mount.

Yes the frame and motor are 76 ltd and the tank and tail are z1 I have new 76 side covers out getting painted to match and new z1 badges to put on them the rear wheel is not a kz1000A but a 76 kz750 twin with brake bracket and caliper swingarm is from a kz1000A and I swapped over all the dual disc parts from the 76 ltd front mag wheel to a 76 kz750 twin spoke front wheel fenders are from a z1 or kz900

Nothing wrong with that! My last project that has been sitting for 20 years! And is a hybrid of so many parts! I can't even count them! 76 KZ, KZ1000 engine, different wheels, different front end, Z1 gauges on a 76 bracket, LTD tank. Whatever! It's all good!
But that cycle is a 76 LTD base. Show the V.I.N. #? Z1F and it will say that. Maybe? But the aluminum rear master Cyl. and the top front master Cyl. along with the smaller version of the rear caliper are all 76 LTD items.
But! Sure is one nice motorcycle! And where ever you take it and show it off, 99% of the people ain't gonna know no difference! And your gonna' be the cock of the block!
Very nice work!!! Show Winner to me!!! At any local Cruise Night, You should be proud of your work! I like it!
