That's at 5000ft. :pinch: He says he will race for $1000 a gear. I asked him if he knew it is a felony to go anything above 80 MPH. "What do you have?' I tell him, he says, "I don't know about Ninjas." "It's not a Ninja!" At this point I remembered that old saying, Never argue with a crazy person or a fool, if you do, people won't be able to tell the difference. I said "See ya' and walked away.

I'm not saying they can't do it, there have and will always be strokers out there that can. The guy I was talking about seemed to me to be just a jerk trying to impress the people around him. He also was talking about making the home owner pay for left over material. He suggested I charge the client for 5 gallons of roofing cement and use the rest on another job. Ha ha. Jerk. I don't have time for a**holes like that.

How did I know the guy with the beard owned the Harley? funny guy, I'd have beers and a smoke with him any day.
Even funnier the prissy "180hp yamzuki" owner who though it was a snail and a tortoise race.
in reality give them a full 1/4 mile without courier vans getting in the way, plus a guy that can ride the sportbike properly and the Harley would get smoked imo.
That wasn't really 180 hp...was it a sports 600?
I remember a bike magazine in the 80's explaining the relationship between power and tourque. Two bikes were compared: a 1340 Harley and GPz550. Both making similar max power but in such a different way.
1980 Gpz550 D1, 1981 GPz550 D1. 1982 GPz750R1. 1983 z1000R R2. all four aces

Some read from a book and some have practical knowledge. Talk is just that, talk.
I have to go back to Depot again in the morning to take back that 5 gal. of cement. I thought it was cheaper but I only need two. It will cost $5 more a gal and I should have listened to myself. I can't expect my client to pay for materials that aren't going to be used. I admit he distracted me a bit. I didn't look to compare the prices. Oh well, it's a fun ride anyway through 1000 PLMS CYN.
I hope the guy is there. I'd like to see what he is so proud of. That is if he'll show it to me.

H.P. just above a stock 600 cc sport bike.
Still just a direct descendent of a washing machine motor.
