Hi Jan, nice bike my friend, it looks great.. If you still have the stock gpz750 front end, would it be possible for you to measure the length of the steering stem please, just from the top of the bottom clamp bearing surface to the top of the bare stem, if that's at all possible ?.... Thanks

Sorry but i haven`t the old fork left. But if you wonder about the zrx fork i have so is it exactly the same measurment and bearings. Easy replacement, just bolt on.

Thanks Jan. I'm doing a front end swap and I actually have a 750 R1 front end but its still on the bike, I don't want to remove it yet because I still have to move the bike around. I'm in the middle of getting my replacement front ready to bolt on and haven't yet sorted out what I'm going to do about a steering stem, I'm thinking about lengthening the donor stem {its off a 2000 Triumph 955i speed triple, 45mm showa forks}, that's why I asked about the length of the stock stem. Never mind, I'll get it sorted.... Thanks anyway...

Did you check top speed with a reliable method by any chance ?
I haven't found any information in that regard based on a GPS for example.
My bike has the stock engine with 11+ k miles and I want to be sure I'm getting all the potential from factory since I had to change front and rear sprockets.

Top Speed checks in Sweden could be very, very expensive. He have to take a ferry to Germany were i live to do a top speed ride steet legal.

KZ750R1 + 1991 ZR750 = KZR750R1
