People in general have a tendency to not like motorcycles as it is & an overloud mc just adds to the overall angst.
Rear brake shoes. If you don't know the age of the brake shoes, replace them. The adhesive that binds the linings to the shoes can fail over time, so a lining can separate from a shoe & get jammed between the shoe & drum, locking the rear wheel. It happened to me when rolling the bike off the center stand, so it does happen. It is an age issue & nothing to do with the amount of wear.

Not only that, but imagine trying to tune that engine to run well with pods on the CV carbs plus open pipes. :huh:

Rear brake shoes. You can't tell by looking at them --- they could be 35-yrs old old old. mine looked new, but they were the 25+ yr old originals when they failed. i was lucky that it happened in the driveway. It would be a real drag at speed & far from home.
