I am working on a 1975 Z1 900 with a fresh 1075 engine. I was looking for an old Z1 or KZ and found this roller project on craigslist with a fresh engine that my friend Jim at Clifford Cycles happen to rebuild for the pervious owner back in 1994. The guy took the bike home and never finished it. And never fired the engine. My Buddy Jim (Yes same Jim at Clifford Cycles )here in Omaha has offered to look over my shoulder as I wired it from scratch. He gave me a spot in his shop to work on it. We were kicking around the idea of ditching the carbs for EFI and I drug in this supercharger that my dad purchased for 100 bucks at a swap meet that he had on his shelf. My dad was going to try to adapt it to an old Ford hot rod with 2 carbs. His project did not seem to be going anywhere so I snaked it. He was less then thrilled but he now sees it going to good use and is excited to see it being put to use. I will try to post some photos. Jim has designed the manifolds he wants to mount the head. We are waiting for his machinist to finish them up. Once we have the manifolds I will build the sheet metal Alum intake between them the charger. We are planning on running it off the crank on the points side. Is anyone aware of KZ cog belt drive that someone already makes ?

The pegs have been moved back some that should help some. I am also planning on building a possible small pad on top of the belt guard and rest my knee on it.

There are some Mr Turbo kits already in town and that is way out of my budget. Interesting enough the word is out on this build and Jim who is helping me with my bike already has a bike scheduled with a MR Turbo kit coming in to get converted with EFI. it appears the manifold we are using on mine may just work on the Mr Turbo kits.
