82 KZ750 Cafe build was created by blankdeluxe
I bought a 82 KZ750 LTD a couple weeks ago for $800 after a few months of shopping around. I got the cafe racer bug a couple years ago and finally decided I'm just going to buy a bike and start building one. The LTD is not the best candidate for a cafe but the price was right so I figured I can fab the pieces I need as I go.
Flat black everything. I have a set of drag bars I will be adding, waiting on a new master cylinder since the angle on the stock one doesn't work with lower bars.
I also have bar end mirrors for those, I chopped the rear frame a little and leveled it as much as I could (pictures for that will be up tonight). I ordered new front and rear smoked blinkers
New tail light.
And I'm trying to find a better gas tank to fit the style a little better. I'm not sure what kind i'm going with yet. And then I will have to build a cafe style seat most likely out of a junk yard gas tank and sheet metal. That the start anymore. More to come.
