Hey guys, been watching all the nice projects going on, & thought I'd show you my bike.
It was a very complete, stock bike when I got it about 9 moths ago, with 23,000 miles on it. no leaks or damage, and ran great once I cleaned the carbs out.
I tried to do things in a way that I didn't ruin the classic feel, and so it can be put back to stock one day by any future owner (I like it this way better).
Here's alist of the changes:
Black base coat/clear coat
New badges
4 into one header
Kenda Challenger tires & new tubes
Blacked out rims
Drilled front disc
Lower bars & new grips
Thruxton style bar end mirrors
Custom seat
Low profile turn signals
Tucked in tail laight
Eliminate rear fender
Lowered in front 1"
Fork gaitors
Polished fork lowers
Polished cases
Polished rear drum & other bits
Chrome chain guard
removed hazzard switch from bars
First pic is when I got it

I drilled the disc myself.

Bike looks great!! Pretty much how mine is going to look once I put it back together this week. Did all the polishing (or will finish) that you spoke of. Had mine painted black as well. Keeping the rims chrome however, but I like the way yours came out. I have two front fenders. One a LTD one like yours, the other a full fender painted black as well. Will decide which one to keep. I can see you spent a lot of quality time with her. It shows in the results. I noticed (but I don't believe you mentioned) that you installed LED turn signals. I the way yours look. Could you give me some information on where you purchased them? Appreciate the info. More pictures if you have any. Can't get enough.

I felt bad cutting the fender up, but I wanted the cleaner look. It was the only "bad" thing I did. I looked for a rusty one for a while but the ones I found were as much as nice ones. When money got tight, I just cut mine up.
The tail light is actually a Harley tail light (FX I believe)
It worked out nice, because the attached license bracket had a rubber snubber for the bottom of the plate.
When I removed the rubber, the hole lined up nice with one of the tail light holes in the fender. So I was able to bolt it in place, then make my top bracket to bolt the fender to the upper tail light bracket.

Once again Egg, nice, classy look and workmanship.
Thanks for the heads up on that Harley tail light, I got a buddy that builds and sells HD parts
I could probally find a take off. And the tip for painting the coils on the shocks black.
Hope you get to keep it! But don't give it away. Hold firm on your price.
