That looks really good. Would like to see what your ratio chart looks like. I'm working on a 84' 700 myself.

Well, a lot of work has been done over the past couple of months. First start to come today. What we have so far.... 1980 kz750 doner bike, 02 zx7 forks and front wheel, 04 gsxr600 swingarm, rear wheel, and brake set up, 06 cbr600rr taillight and front fender, vrod headlight, 2011 gsxr rear seat cowl with fabricated undertail, and a 1973 honda cb350F petrol tank. That's just the basics. I plan to work out the kinks then tear it back down to complete body work. If anyone is interested in the details I can start a new topic.

Just a caution note on clip-ons: Yesterday going to St. Augustine for the Riding Into History bike show, my friend, who had just put his Honda café project on the road, cranked up and his left clip-on broke in two and came off in his hand! We'd just came off a screaming ride up the road when we stopped for gas. Had the clip-on failed at speed, he very well may not be with us today.
Buy the best to stake you life on.
The weld where the bar came apart looked like aluminum. The two pieces appeared to be joined at areas that were smooth and about the size of a dime. Dunno the brand, but I can likely find out.
Ride safe,
Steven

Well, It has taken awhile, but it is finally ready to tear it up for a couple of months. Then she will come apart for her lyme disease tribute theme. Dark, evil, bio warfare look. Can't wait.
