Shooting my LTD frame with a laser showed me just how far off things were from the factory. Shoot dead center down the frame main backbone to the steering neck from behind the bike.

Then from the steering neck, dead center down the backbone to the rear, top cross member near the tail light.

Of course, doing and endo in a ditch back in 79 might have had some effect on it too

Tore the speedometer right off and never even put a scratch on the tach or the tail section. I walked away with minor scratches. Dam near had it back on the road but there was this big rock in the ditch that had other ideas :woohoo:

Wheeling and dealing is good. I wish I could do that for some of the parts I want - exhaust, speedo, paint (All the expensive stuff).

you can do it. just look for deals. trust me, its not an everyday thing. but when you have a lot of time on your hands it helps.

Either is very 'racey' and good. I lean towards a black finish for a motor...just me, though.
