Looking at the Sanctuary Frame pics, it looks like the neck sheet bracing is +++more than one dimensional. ++++

I'm not sure what u are asking?

if i add more to mine at that same area in your pic , i would add these.

Here is what I meant Mark: Here is the gusset plates I cut out with a 1" hole in the middle

But instead of just welding in a flat plate, I added some more dimension to it to increase the gussets rigidity by cutting 3/4" pieces of 1" tube for the holes I drilled

After welding in the tubes, I added a strip of 3/4" wide sheet to the open edge of the gusset. I measured the length of the curve, cut the strip and tack welded it on just one end.

Then I hammered the strip into the curve until it conformed well enought to tack up.

Once tacked into place the edge was fully welded, from the front and back sides. Don't ask me why, I just did. The completed neck gussets:

Here is the right neck gusset tacked in place. I used paint stripper on the neck area in stead of grinding the paint off. You can really tell the difference trying to weld to the frame when it hasn't been ground clean. I'll run a grinder along the edges prior to full welding

A shot of the neck gussets from the back.

So now the gussets may not be completely boxed, but they should offer increased rigidity over a flat plate.....I think. At least this is what the Santuary neck gussets look like, sooooo I hope those guys know what they're doing

Ok ,now i see what u mean. yes they did do that, except for the 3/4" pipe addition. it appears that they just have a hole.Nice touch.
I think the pipe would only need to be about an 1/8" long to provide the same strength. not sure that extra length adds extra strength.i'm not an engineer, this is just a guess.i'm not being negative bud, just talking. Great job Adam.
there is a member hear that has a press, that will cut those holes and emboss the hole at the same time, for rigidity.
i wish i had a welder, and torches,myself.
It would be great to be able to do all of this stuff myself.
Nice job.B)
