KZ250a Cafe Racer was created by hoopsnakeengineering

Hi Guys, new to your site. Thought you might be interested in seeing my recently completed project. It's an 82 model KZ250a with a shortened and smoothed frame, Ducati SS tail piece, clip ons, rearsets, etc and lots of other custom bits. Hope you like it.

Absolutely beautiful. Very nice work. I'd love to find a smaller KZ to cafe. How to the pipes sound? Are they loud?

I love the sound of the pipes, but it is very loud for a 250. 99db @ idle and at least 115db when you rev it. The meter I used only went to 115db.

that is so cool you are my hero..i allmost found a 200kz the other day but it was gone when i called.....you gotta send some pictures at full tilt boogie on that thing...how much fun is that!!!!!japan would want 6000.00 for somthing that cool....well done..bravo:woohoo:
