That is coming along very nice subrock. That seat is pretty cool too. The tank paint looks to be in really good shape, keeping it or doing another colour?
Post some pics when you get the seat finished.
tank is pretty good, its got the usual scuffs and scratches where the seat met up with it so I wont feel too bad when I yank it off this winter to get it repainted (gloss black with orange racing stripes anyone?) this bike was woman-handled its whole life so it remained mostly unabused. I dont think 200 singles are very well received by the masses but I just love how light and fun this bike is. I'll keep the pics coming as it gets close to what I want.

as for the gauges, they are a work in progress as are the bars, I just want to take it for a ride before the weather turns too permanently. everything on the forks is going lower when I get some extra coin, lower headlight ears ( the ones on there arent adjustable although I did flip them side for side and dropped about an inch) clip ons, probably just one mini speedo mounted on a fork leg or something. I really want it to look flat flat flat across the top. like you could lay a yardstick on the top of the bike and have it lay level or at least have the tank be the highpoint.
gotta run to the hardware store for some paint stripper (update to follow)
