This is my 1978 KZ750 Twin that I bought in mid-March to act as my daily rider while working on my Z1 project. Bought it from a dealership (mistake) and it ended up being a non-stop fixer upper. All the fixing up was finished friday finally and now she's going like a champ
My sad bike when I bought her, looks better in the picture then she was
Kz900ltd seat, some rewiring, new triple tree, new forks, new rear tire, rebuilt petcock, top end gaskets, new rings, new exhaust, rebuilt carbs and some cleaning later. 700km's put on this weekend

Glad to see I'm not the only one that rides with a tank bag, I can't do without mine

My buddy calls my magnetic tank bag a purse:P
I don't care. Way better than a back pack.

Haha thanks Sandy, maybe next year after I figure out where I'm supposed to put all my bikes when I move into an apartment :laugh:Right on TIMBO!!:woohoo:

Thanks Link and Steve, the paint is still pretty rough but I can handle living with rough paint and a good engine over good paint and rough engine anyday
As for the grab handle, I never really noticed it, gave my mom a ride today but she thought it was too far back to be useful. Tank bags are life savers, can't stand riding with a back pack.

She does look sweet. Glad your not leaking oil on your rear tire anymore.
I'm glad about that too haha, also picked up a new bridgestone spitfire for the rear to replace the old one that was worn flat

I picked a similar exhaust system, probably the only brand available. Right? Mine is a two into one but still has head pipes that look close to the stock system.
I sure like the twin. Lots of low end torque.

I think there were other brands available, this was just the only two into two system I could find that specifically said it didn't interfere with the kickstand.Very Nice Tim,

Went out for a little run last night around dusk just around 50k's but as I reached the turnaround point the throttle cable snapped. If I was lucky, it would have been the return cable but it was the main one and so I had an interesting ride home with a suicide throttle :S
