Well i am getting back to work on the 650. I was keeping it in a friends garage were i was doing the work on it and it didnt work out. He decided to mess the whole thing up so im going a different route with the whole thing. Im going to hardtail the frame and turn it into a bobber sort of deal. Im putting on a sportster tank, sportster forward controls and some type of HD seat. No front fender, and a 6" rear trailer fender. Not sure on the paint but either flat black or electric blue with silver ghost flames. I am parting with the stock tank, side covers, tail section, front and rear fender, rail light, air box and stock pipes, if any ones intrested let me know. Pics will be up shortly

well after 3 months for this thing to collect dust in my garage, and tripping over it everyday, im glad i havent chopped it up. Im just going to put it back together as is. And il put on the stock airbox and 4 into 2 pipes. Maby ill add some blue stripes down the side of the taink side covers and tail to accent the mineral gray body work.

Well again the 650 has been on the back burner, but i have made a bit of profress. I Put the motor back in, made my own oil pan gasket, put clubman type bars on. So here are some pics for you all. Cause i know everyone at KZR are picture junkies. So here ya go.

And the last one, the body work on, but something went south when i painted it, so i will have to redo it over the winter, but i wanted to add a blue stripe down the tank, side covers and flairing out at the tail. Kind of like the GPZ's paint style.

Will do, when i make more progress. I actually have been thinking about putting an crotch rocket exhaust can on this one like my 900. But i dunno if i will be able to score another one for 20 bucks. I seen a suzuki gsxr 600 today with an acrapovic can on it.........it sounded so mean, now if i only new were he lived so i could swipe it when he went to bed.....lol, just kidding or am i?

I got the bike completely wired up. I fixed all the broken and corroded wires and such.......what a PITA.. . Im waiting on a petcock, dyna yellow plug wires and a few other assorted part's to get here. I have finally figured out im going to put z1 carb's on her. Cause the PO did engine work, bored it out to a 710cc:angry: :woohoo:. So it will be even faster with z1 carbs. I dont know if im the luckiest guy in the world or what, I actually got the z1 carbs to slide into the kz 650 holders..........ok mabye not the easiest thing in the world to do, but some anti sieze and a little persuassion from a dead blow hammer, and they slid right on. The z1 carb's have stock jets in them, i am running pods and a 4 into 1 v&h with the full baffle but no fiberglass wrapping, i think the stock z1 jetting will be pretty right on.
