Welcome aboard. Trust me...you'll find plenty of help here. I'm a fairly new member meself and have gleaned a plethora from these guys already. Throw up some pics of your bike so we can see what you're dealin' with.

Well, it doesn't look too bad, from the outside...if you haven't yet done it, buy a shop manual off of eBay. Given the choice, buy a KHI (Kawasaki Heavy Industries) first, then a Haynes, then a Clymer (my opinion only). You will be able to find Clymers pretty cheap, but you may be able to get a KHI from between US$10.00 and $30.00. The manuals are fairly straight-forward.
