All I KNOW so far is it is a belt drive, red (factory- so maroon? wine?...) 750, luggage rack and sissy bar, its stored for the winter in a barn- and it is my first bike...ever,,,and I am older than you!
I take the msf with my son (1978 gs550 suki) I feel like I got the most incredible gift...that'd be the whole package! He'll bring it up sometime in a few days.
Anyway- this looks like a great site. I've been over at www.kawasakimotorcycle.org mostly- GREAT people but mostly newer bikes so I'm real glad to have found this site....
Oh BTW upstate NY (607 area)
I atttached a photo of the suk1 cause you guys seem to like pictures and I love looking at old bikes too!
[edit...hmmmmpic too big can't post now- I'll try later]

thanks- I'll post pics soon I hope- By the way-how can I make my pics smaller-
I use Irfanview www.irfanview.com/ a free program that's really simple and easy.
Lot's of the earlier chain drive 750 twins on here, but not many belt driven ones. The belt drive model was only made as a 83 model, so they are not real common. Might want to add "KZ750K twin" to your sig, or everyone will assume you have a 750 four when you ask a question about it
Oh yeah, the 83 KZ750K Belt Drive was the last 750 twin model produced by Kawasaki

In Irfanview I think it's under "Image" and then something/resize, and then you can either select standard sizes or specify custom, and tehn save it with a filename with no spaces, dashes, underlines, etc, in otherwords just letters and numbers with no spaces in the filename.
I'm on a Linux computer at the moment, and I can't remember what it is in Irfanview besides resize/
I just remembered, it's Resize/Resample

Never owned a belt drive either, but I have had:I'd love to see a pic. The belt drive was the only version of the 750 twin that I didn't own. Came awfully close at the dealership in '84, though:pinch: .
77, 78, 79, 80, and 82, 750 twins, with the 80 being my current ride, and the 77 and 78 in parts in the garage.
A 76 and a 83 would complete the series
