There's probably a better answer. A ZX6/Kaw front end & GSXR/Suzuki swing arm seem pretty common.
The 80s GS1100 swing arms typically list in the $200-300 range on eebbaayy, but I don't know if they fit the 750.
SUZUKI 80 81 82 83 GS 1100 --- $197T ..... SUZUKI ALLOY SWINGARMS CALFAB USA KATANA GS1100 wow.

I kinda wonder if a good fit size-wise for a KZ750 might be ZR750 swing arm. The ZR750 engine is based on the KZ650/750 & the frame is similar. The 2000 ZR-7 sleeve is 219.5mm. I don't know the sleeve length of the KZ. The 90s ZR750 Zephyr has dual shocks & a 237mm sleeve. The ZR750s have 17" wheels.

I am brand new here. I stumbled across this cool place while looking for.....Kawasaki a Motorcycle!
Any one done a inverted fork conversion(,Zx6 Gsxr6) on to Kz750 ?
Once I have selected a donor Front Suspension assembly, What will I need to modify , or replace to allow it to fit the Kz?
SWINGARM:
I want to use an existing Aluminum Swing arm from a modern Bike, It will be modified too retain its OEM dual shock suspension. Can some one recommend a suitable model to use?, suggested necessary parts/ machining needed?
looks like a set of (zx6) Forks are going for $450 or less, and I have seen many different Alum swing arms for $250 or less.It looks like a worthwhile modification. Better brakes are the icing on the 320mm cake!
Any thoughts on Running 17" wheels
Thanks for helping TFNG out !

29 Jun 2015 18:43On page 11 of this thread you will find the image above. The length if you had them laying on the bench would be a little longer. These are Gsxr 1100 forks, the last year of conventional forks. I think they are 1989 or 90. The cool thing is that you will find the same forks on the newer Bandit, so parts are easy and plentiful.
Thanks so much for the compliments.

Got back to the bike again today and had a list of things to get done. Only got about half way through the list but made some progress at least. Sandblasted a whole a lot of bits that needed painting. Mostly just odds n sods. Put new bearings in the rear swingarm and fitted that up which was cool. Very satisfying getting stuff like this finished.

Before buying it I would take the bike to a dyno and see the numbers for myself. Frankly, 94hp at the rear wheel seems mighty high for an engine that came from the factory with 55hp at the crank (see link). Getting that much power from it would take a heck of a lot more than just bumping up the compression ration by milling the head. It is physically impossible to get 94hp from that engine simply by increasing the compression ratio. Even pushing the compression ratio from the stock 8.5:1 to a whooping 12.0:1 would only bump up the crankshaft HP to 60 (see second link). His HP claim and dyno sheet sound very bogus to me, so I would have to put it on a dyno myself to see the facts. Ed

I don't want to side track your Track Bike thread.
Could you email me (gwailo7@gmail.com) how and what suspension you used on your H2?
I want to update my bike from this
to this.
I'm having a hard time finding a swingarm that will fit besides the FZR 400 and 600. Yours looks like GSXR suspension?
Any help would be great!!!!
Thanks
Kenny
