Do you really think I would have changed ANYTHING on that red Kaw if it was mine? That is prolly my favorite KZ on the planet and was a big inspiration to me during this ongoing build. He (I can't rember his name now) answered a lot of questions that I had and was very helpful, as have so many of Ya'll on this site.

Here is a pic of the other pro-street KZ that pushed me along, it belongs to Jim Sudman.

that is beutifull just the way it is ,and ya dont get that out of me very often!how much rake did you put in the front end?i want to put a"blow-through turbo behind the front wheel on my z1 project but i need to rake my frame a little to clear it,wow thats nice!!!!!!!!

I love Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo's work, I just don't know if I like it on a gas tank. But hell, what do I know? I've got rust and dings on my tank!

That's a gorgeous machine, looks very fast whatever the paintjob. How quick is it? I love the peekaboo clutch cover, flushmount filler cap, headlights and gauges. Nice touches there.

Wire,
Front is raked 4.5 degrees,and with the +4 swingarm it still rides and handles well.

Guitar,
The bike used to run 11 teens with the basic stock 1013 motor (bars and A-1 slick) So I would think with the 1197 kit, port work, cams, and RS36's..... It should go low to mid 10's. We'll just have to find out one day!!

Great job, thats one beutiful bike!! I use to have a molly hatchet mural painted on my tank, but it was looking bad, was on there for 15 years, so it was time to go. I'll see if I can find a pic of it and try and post it. it was done by hand with a brush, took the guy 48 hours to paint it.

I like C, after looking at the pics. Black the forks and frame, highlight that loooong swingarm with some chrome.

Yeah, I assumed and took a look after thinking about it. Seems like something a person could make pretty easily. I have a plasma cutter here at school... and could probably chop the center out, finish it off with a pneumatic grinder to smooth it and make it look good, then you could polish it up. Then it seems that it's just a little piece of acrylic in there.

So.... I'll probably just do this myself too. haha

Thing is, I wonder if it's a special acrylic that won't discolor?
