Is it possible to todo something with the disc brake bolts to avoid corrosion?

Send them to a company who can do something with them with acid or something?

Do you mean the disk/rotor bolts? They probably need to be re-plated with zinc or something.
There are plating kits, but you could send them to a plating company.
Mine were showing some corrosion, so I got good used rotor bolts from a ZX10 or ZX11. I forget which one.
Many Kawasakis used the same size bolts.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationMaybe just replace them with new old stock ones. Find the correct part number and then check eBay by doing a search using that part number. Here's a couple examples, but I'm not positive yours uses the same part number. The part number for the 1977 KZ650-C1 is 92007-032. Ed

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHis rotor bolts are probably the same as most of the 80s models with dual disk &/or cast alloy wheels.

Probably 7 per disk & 21 total for the front & rear. I bought a good used set of disk/rotor bolts on EB. fairly cheap.
Many Kawasaki models used the same bolts & there are probably other 8x30 rotor bolts with a different part number that are the same.
For more results, instead of searching by part number, search each model on EB or EB.UK.
ZX10. ZX11. ZX1100. ZX6. ZX7. Ninja ZX600. ZR750. etc. etc.

It is not great at removing rust, but it is amazing at preventing it. Some guys hose down their entire bike with it. Electronics, painted surfaces, polished surfaces, et cetera. Don't get it on the brakes, and probably not the seat or tires.

I would say yes. guessing. The ZRX bolts are square or flat where the threads end near the bolt head. The KZ bolts are tapered there.

From the diagrams at Partzilla for the 2001 ZRX1200R (ZR1200-A1).
BOLT,SOCKET,8X30
92150-1771
Fit >> many modern Kawasaki models from 1997-on.
Partzilla - Socket Bolt 8X30 - 92150-1771

From the diagrams at Partzilla for the 1983 KZ750-L3.
BOLT,SOCKET,8X30
92001-1951
Fit >> KZ550/KZ650/KZ750/ZX600/ZX750/ZG1000/etc
Partzilla - Socket Bolt 8X30 - 92001-1951
note: Partzilla may be substituting the 92150-1771 bolts in place of the 92001-1951 bolts. Kawasaki may list 92150-1771 as a superseded part number, to be used in place of the earlier part number. Kawasaki dealers should have supersession info not available in the diagrams.
