as announced I took her out for a test ride last WE with new fork oil, new tyres and overhauled anti dive.
What shall I say, was very please with her behaviour on the street: fork acts smooth ( for the year), the scary wobbling has gone, anti dive works pretty well.
Came home with a smile on my face ...
UNTIL a looked down on the fork: ANTI DIVE's LEAKING!!! What a mega shit!
Not much, only a drop but of course cant leave it leaking like this.
I suspect the O-rings being the root cause although had renewed them using the ones from the GPZzone kit.
I now ordered NOS rings from KAWA.
So heavy work ahead again for next week end starting over the whole exercise ( lucky I have to stay home on account of COVID 19 anyway).
This time I am planning on lubricating the O-rings with a sealant very lightly ( we call it Dirko-S here).
Anyone having some experiences using sealant to drain off O-rings ?
Cheers
