Got it.

So if I ever get the 'J' motor stuffed into the GPX
chassis, get a blower on it, upgrade the brakes, make her
street legal, then I'm pretty much there? Didn't know I
was working on one :-)

Finally got a 24' stick of 1.25 tubing in. Wanted 0.095
but they shipped the next larger. Wanted ERW but they shipped
DOM. $60 delivered is a bit more than I wanted to pay but the stuff looks
really nice and it took so long to get here that I'm keeping it.

wow... that's a LOT for a piece of tubing.

I got a 1" dia .095 walled piece of ERW at 20' for $14.00 at a local steel mill.

I was expecting abut $25-$30 for what I ordered.
We don't have a local steel mill for handy pickup.
This is 1 and 1/4 and something like 0.112 wall x 24 feet.
It's also DOM so its baby's ass smooth on the inside and out.
Almost too pretty to use.

It's not what I wanted. They effed up the order.
Friend and I got some 1" square 0.095 ERW 24' in on the same order.
It was like $16/stick. Flash all over the inside and lots of
mill marking on the outside. I got a piece of this for braces
and friend is building a big roll around bin for trade show stuff..
