and how you have the points set, is .014in the widest the points separate?

The bike didn't start but are the spark plugs sparking?

So I ended up doing what you said in regards to the points. The bike turned over and spun a bit louder but didn't start up. As it seems my issue is in the points, I am wondering if I even set them correctly in the first place now, when I replaced the old, pitted points and condenser maybe I put the new ones on wrong? The only thing wrong that I found with your install from a voltage standpoint is that the contacts were not touching electrically when closed.I guess my question is that if the points are set incorrectly would that stop the bike from starting up?Yes, If the contacts aren't touching, the coils will not charge. Anyway I turned the cam shaft to set the gaps to about 0.14 on either side but how exactly should I set the points when they are supposed to be touching? If you set the gap properly, the point contacts should touch when closed.just turn the shaft until they are the closest then adjust the points plate to get them completely flush? Nope, turn the shaft until the points contacts are FURTHEST apart, then adjust that gap to .014in.

Well guys I just got all the spark plugs sparking now so thanks a lot! However the bike didn't start haha. Upon further inspection it seems that there is no gas flow to the carbs whatsoever....I disassembled and cleaned out my petcock a while ago, maybe the issue is in there? I did a compression test a while ago so I am assuming my final issue to fix before I can test this bike out is the fuel now.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationCool. if you have a secondary fuel tank you can try that... I have an old tank from a lawnmower engine and I use it when doing things I need to have the tank off but engine running...

Just for kicks Noob.
Spray some starting fluid into the carbs to see if the bike will fire.

Is the bike running on it's own? On gasoline?

Yup! Only issue now is that the bike dies when apply the throttle sharply. I just cleaned the carbs so perhaps my issue is the mixture.
