Just an update on the high boost misfire issue with stock ignition system.

I added the 19V step up transformer to supply the ignition coils and that solved the whole problem.
At last report I was still running .022" plug gaps but have since opened them to .035 and still have no misfire under 11-12 lbs boost.

While idling, voltage at the coils (maximum dwell) is 16V. That's 3V below the no-load voltage of the step-up transformer and should also be the lowest voltage seen by the ignition coils.
