This winter I am back into my carburetors. On the 82 KZ750 Spectre equipped with the Keihin CV34, what are stock jet sizes? I've heard 125 + 63 is the standard? This is in the midwest on a USA model. I am reverting to the stock airbox. I have confirmed that the jets inside are 122 + 65. Is this suitable for a stock setup? Otherwise I will order and install the correct jets. My only other question is where do you find the rubber O ring for the little plastic caps that go over one of the jets? And also that jet under the plastic cap, what is it's stock size? I can attach images if needed. Thanks.

Is this from the USA manual? I guess going off of that information I have the incorrect jet sizes?

Those carbs have a pilot screw w/O-ring, that should be replaced.

You can buy the various O-rings from a Kawasaki dealership, including online sources like Partzilla.

I sell O-ring kits, which is cheaper than buying the O-rings separate.  I might have the jets too, but have to check.

Not sure it's making sense to me because I just found this post:
kzrider.com/forum/3-carburetor/609565-kz750-cv34-carb-jetting

It claims that 125-62-35 is the correct jet size and to me this makes sense.

This is all very confusing, could you please help me clarify?

Also, my pilot screw is adjustable. I'll be running the stock airbox setup under the assumption that 2.5 turns out should get me close to the magic number?

The regular model KZ750, not the N model, used 125/62 main jets.  Maybe someone swaped your carbs?

The real deal Spectre carbs were painted black, and have small plastic Tee's, between 1&2 and 3&4, which are for float bowl venting.  The regular CV34's don't have those.

Nessism,

Can confirm it's painted black and has the tees in between them. Funny enough that I actually have 2 sets of Spectre carburetors on hand and they look the same. I can send a picture to confirm it

You might want to open up the second set and check the jet sizes.

UPDATE:
I've opened up the other set. The jets seem a little knackered but I can see they say 90, 65, 35.  That seems to line up with what Mcdroid was saying.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but which one is the main air jet? (Pri: 100 sec 60)

These jets are a little knackered. Primarys are stuck in there and a little wallowed out. You think they're okay enough to reuse them? If so I'll break out the torch and try my hand at it. I bought a carb kit off ebay and it came with some jets as well... unmarked and they don't say what number they are on the listing. Interesting. Other evidence that the previous owner gave me was a half used dynojet kit. I think he may have been toying around with the jet sizes. If anyone is interested in this dynojet kit I'll trade it for some clean stock jets. Or just good advice lol. I wont have much of a use for this kit once I get back to stock jetting.
