This may help

Edit: sorry, it seems you must be a member of that forum to view.  Anyway, it's a thread about using Zephyr carbs on a 650, which should be almost same as with your 750.  Lots of good info on that forum.

Can anyone help me get the part number for the 1985 ZN700 carburetor slide?
I managed to break the slide loose and remove it from the carb. I can salvage that carb, but will need a new slide.

You're very welcome! I use Partzilla all the time to find part numbers - sometimes they have the items in stock, which is handy.

If they don't have what I need, the next stop is usually Consolidated Motor Spares Netherlands (CMSNL):

www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-zn700_model15010/

After that I'll take the part numbers and go to ebay (and sometimes check Amazon, just in case).

Any clue what the yellow hoses are for?

These are Keihin CVK carbs from 1985 ZL750 Kawasaki Eliminator.

Take this with a grain of salt so to speak. I am not an expert on the CVK carbs at all. But to my way of thinking there are 2 options for the lines in question.  They are either vents for the float bowls or overflow hoses, I tend to lean to vents but can not say 100% that is what they are.  I am sure others will chime in who do know more.

I put a set of KeiHin CVK32 mm carbs from an early Ninja 600 on my 650 following Pablo's tutorial.
He used ZR7/S carbs, same 32mm size.
ZR7 manifolds are used to fit to our KZ/Z650's, and boots to modified stock air boxes.
The carbs are much newer and easier to get parts for these days if needed.

I believe the 700 would be the same spacing to mount the carbs as the 650/750.

Now into the second season running the CVK carbs, and the KZ650 is running great.
