Seen guys do it before but the top end of the gsxr has about 8% more of a lean forward and this effects the float bowl. im sure there are fellas here that know more about it but get the facts before you press the buy button.

Those carbs are CVs and not a "true" flat slide, its a round slide on the motor side. I guess it would depend on any other work that has been done to the motor and if it is a dedicated drag bike or a hot street bike.

I have only seen CV's on hot street bikes not real drag bikes, most use RS series flat slides as they are a racing carb (easy to change main jet) or Lectron carbs which is a all out racing carb (no idle circuit)

It is easier to ride the bike back for the finish line with RS flat slides as they have a low speed circuit, the Lectons not so great at low speed.

I believe those carbs are CVs, not flat slides. I used to run a set of 29mm 750 GSXR flatslide carbs on my mostly stock 1000 and they worked great. Had to swap them out for 33 smoothbores when I went with cams and a ported head.

Wiseco 1075c pistons
