i took my cbr to the track last week. this may be the last time this year. i will miss the next reg ride because were going away on a holiday. i am undecided on the last day. i broke my wrist in a crash on the October finally last year, due to cold track conditions. so unless it looks like its going to be warm i may just pass. if i have 1 more crash i don’t think i will be able to participate anymore. i would feel pretty bad if i had to miss work again. 1 of my riding pals is nursing a badly broken leg right now, (he high sided) so all of our wives are on very high emotions right now.

Lookin' good out there buddy. It's good to see you getting your money's worth out of that little Honda. Definanatly take it easy if it gets cool out there. If you hurt yourself again, Mamasan might not let you do track days next summer.

that’s for sure bro. Mamma already has a sledge hammer at the ready. If I go down again,and the bike still lives , she will put it out of its misery.

Damn right. It sucks that the fire extinguisher didn't get the job done. That poor bike is nothing but scrap metal now.

Mark, it's a youtube video of an R6 that crashed on Mulholland Dr in California. After the crash, the bike caught fire while laying on it's side. The poor thing burned to a crisp. When they finally got the fire put out about 8 minutes later there was very little left on the bike. You can see it clearly when the flatbed tow truck leaves with the remains.

I can see it now, from my home puter. i guess they got some new blocking software at work. i used to be able to see a utube address, but now there is nothing.

That sure would suck to go down in flames like that.
