Mike Law and Dan Butters had the Raceworks Northern Storm out on Saturday at St.Thomas Dragway. Just a short test session but nice to hear a Kawasaki on nitro again...

Ok Jack. Is the head on reversed, or is the whole engine reversed?

That's a mean looking bike.

Testa, just the head. All current competitive TF bikes run with the head reversed and a big forward facing injector hat scooping up air for the blower. Does make doing the cam timing very interesting as well...

That's what I thought.

Never even considered the consequences of reversing the head on cam timing. The thought makes my head hurt.

I wonder what is actually Kawasaki on that bike, or just the engine for that fact. Maybe the valve cover?

The valve cover and the stud pattern. May not even be an oem cover- MTC and Ward both sold GPZ style covers with their aftermarket heads. Stud pattern determines inline 4 TF engine brand, this engine is a Trett bottom end with Kawasaki studs.

Looks like an after market valve cover Jack. Very sweet bike :)

Had yours out?
