I've been looking for a 7" round H4 motorcycle specific headlight. All I can find are LED headlights and I want a traditional H4. My bike still has the original sealed beam headlight with a burnt out high beam.

Thanks, Kelly E

What motorcycle?  You might be able to install the lens unit & H4 bulb from an 80s KZ750-4.
It's what I did on my 81 KZ650-CSR. Direct swap.  All you need is the lens unit, H4 bulb & dust cover.
The lens was kind of cloudy so I cleaned it w denatured alcohol. easy.

Not motorcycle specific, but an auto parts store might have a halogen sealed beam, but the beam pattern is different for a car.
Some riders here on KZR have gone w a Wagner H6024.

Classic Candlepower 7" motorcycle headlight.  New.  Has correct asymmetrical lens for use on motorcycles, necessary for beam shape & cutoff.  DOT approved.  We're running these on three of our Z1's.

I've been using a Philips CrystalVision ultra for the past few years. It's a sealed beam unit, but it's much brighter than the Stanley (which I still have) and fits the housing perfectly. It's very reasonably priced, too.

PS...Thanks slmjim & Z1BEBE, I've ordered a halogen from your link to try out. For $25.88 delivered to a US address, it's a deal!
Back in the saddle and loving it! KZ1000A1

yes. I did. Its a 7 inch round sealed beam. I put one on my kz750 E1 maybe 5 years ago. Much brighter than the old one and has lasted well. The Wagner product has a good reputation with motorcycles. Other brands dont survive the vibration. Some NAPA stores carry them. Summit racing used to carry them. Got mine ebay or amazon. Not expensive . Think I maybe  paid about $20.

Just went out to the shed and snapped a pic the old box.

I bought an H4 housing from Redline cycle. It has a great cutoff line and bright wide cast high beam pattern. Very happy.

Of course after I ordered a new headlight I was digging around way up on the top shelf in the back of a box I found a really nice Stanley 7" H4 headlight with a bulb in it.

Today I made a new nut for the 4mm headlight adjustment screw out of delrin to replace the original plastic nut that looks like it's about to crack.
