Hi I'm looking for a set of pipes and silincers for my 77 KZ  650 but not silly money mine are completely original but the chrome has parted
company from the steel pipe so they are looking a bit sad although the silencers or mufflers as you call them over the pond. Are still in good condition. Any help would be appreciated

You and the rest of the world!
Original zorsts are rocking horse poo and a usable good condition original set will cost you more than a repop set.
I assume you are also in the UK as I am so your best option is rechrome yours or get a repop set from OS exhaust (UK) or bazaar de la becane (France) or London exhausts ( Holland).
There is also Busso (Italy) but reports are not good!.
A set from any of the above will be around £1000.

I noticed a very nice set on facebook market place if your in the UK this link may not help you.

Does anyone know if the 77 650 exhaust will fit a 77 KZ1000? I know nothing about the KZ650.

I hope this link works.  Never mind after looking over this guys post I think it's a scam.

And the spacing between the exhaust ports on the head are wider on a 1000.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

You might want to look for a powder coater that works with high temperature "ceramic" material.  I had my 750 stock exhaust done, and it was quite cheap.  They can even do a bright finish if you want, although it will cost more money.
