Got these for free, don't have a use for them myself. Thought I'd pass on to someone that could use them. No idea on the condition of the engine.

Located in Edgewood, MD. Sorry, can't provide any shipping.

Last call for these. If I don't have any takers in the next few days, they'll have to go for scrap. They're free, you pick up.

I'm interested in the 750 engine only.  Is it still available?  I work in Middle River.

For the record, FB71 is a heckuva nice guy!

I was planning to be traveling last week and knew the path would bring me near his location (well, about an hour away) so he kindly agreed to hold on to the KZ400 frame for me. :)

I enlisted some help and stopped by his place Saturday morning. We had a nice chat, and it turns out all three of us have some things in common.

The KZ400 tail section is going to a nephew, I'm going to use the disc-brake front end for a project, and the frame may become a Predator-powered pit bike. (I have a drum-brake front end, spare wheels, etc.).

Also for the record, be sure to undo the clamp bolts BEFORE you try to remove the front axle. Otherwise it won't work, even with a hammer, and you'll look like a big dope.

Thanks!
Great talking with you two as well!
I'm always happy to see usable components put to good applications, rather than get scrapped.
And I'd be lying if I said I ALWAYS remember every bolt before trying to remove something
