I screwed up and ordered the wrong bolt on ebay to replace the missing center stand bolt on my bike. This bolt is no longer available from the dealer.  part number 34019-014    *73-80 Z1 / KZ * >OEM< Center Stand Shaft (bolt) This is the bolt with the 14mm X 1.25 thread pitch. $25.00 shipped USPS continental US. Exactly what I paid for it, BTW

 

Does anyone know how this differs from the below which is also 14mm with a 10x1.25 thread on the inner part which I have just bought for my 82K from a dealer for $7 each ?

Part number 92001-1214 is still available, whereas part number 34019-014 is not. Discontinued, nada.  Also, the part has 10mm, X1.25 threads, while part number 34019-014 has >14mm threads<. They look identical in pictures, but in reality, are completely different. I learned this the hard way. :/

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know if the old part number superseded to the later one (Obviously not  )

Not according to partzilla.  not that I'm making anything on it. I'm just trying to recoup the cash.  Z1 shows reproductions too. sold in sets of two. This is an OEM part.

I’ll have to look up to be exact but the Z1 main stand bolt were hollow.

Edit. Z1 to mid Z1A the 34019-014 is hollow. After the bolt was solid.
