Just buy a new decent torque wrench and will start to work with it this afternoon...
But In the manual i have spec in kg-m and in-lbs
My torque wrench is in : NM or LB-IN

Example:
Clutch spring bolts at 0.9 - 1.1 KG-M or 78 - 95 IN-LBS


- Is in-lbs same has lb-in ?
- What do you use for unit to work generally?

Yes. But be sure never to confuse inch pounds with FOOT pounds.

I have a free torque app for my iPhone that does the conversion.

But you're talking about such low numbers I would really doubt the accuracy of a FT/LB wrench. I have a 1/4 inch torque wrench that I use for little numbers like that.

but in your case just using simple math you can take the conversion of inch lbs to foot lbs by dividing inch pounds by 12 results in ft lbs. in your case that is about 8 ft lbs. Most ft lb torque wrenches start at 10 ft lbs

In-lb and lb-in are interchangeable for our purposes.

We generally work in the SAE scales of in-lb and ft-lb.

Google "torque conversion chart" to convert one to the other.

You may sometimes see a torque spec stated in Newton/meters (Nm). Older assemblies seldom use the Nm spec.

I use the kz1000 Motorcycle Service Manual (1976-1979) for a kz1000 ltd 1978 B2

When they were on sale I bought myself a 3/8 and 1/4 torque wrenches at Harbor Freight for about $10 each. Yes I have tested them both with math and against a "beam" type torque wrench and they are spot on.

And i don't understand why they put ft-lbs on the top of the table and all units are in-lbs inside the table ....

Torque wrenches come in various sizes, and the size & amount of force is typically dependent upon the size of the bolt &/or the application.
It's best to have at least 2 torque wrenches. A big one in ft-lbs & a small one in IN-lbs.
When the specified torque is in INCH-lbs or for small fasteners which usually require only a small amount of force, a big torque wrench would be the wrong tool & you could snap off a bolt head or stud. Examples would be the exhaust holder nuts or cam cap bolts.
If a torque isn't specified for a particular bolt, Kawasaki manuals typically have a general bolt tightening table.

Is it an error on the table title?

No, it's for simplicity. Kawasaki service manuals assume the user has already obtained a certain level of training & competence.
When a Kaw mechanic sees in-lbs, he'll know to grab the small torque wrench.
(or he may do it by feel using a regular wrench without over-tightening the bolt).
