Anyone know anything about Alphabet Headers. Part number stamped on pipes are DV412, CV412. Looks like cross over style down tubes. Seller claims to not know application.

Never heard of alphabet but alpha (spelt alfa I think) was a popular period 4 into 1 in the day in the uk. No cross over headers. Looked similar to the current delkevic straight tail pipe stainless system available now although the tail pipe was on the left unlike the delkevic which is on the right.

Maybe seller has mis identified/remembered the manufacturer?

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!

Alphabet  made exhausts in the late 70's, I don't know anything about them though...

Hi Matt, sent you a message, Yes Alphabet, back in the Day! When Chopper 750 SOHC Hondas and Kaw 900's were customized. Nothing special, just old and cool, If they are real nice, they could be something different. I had a cross over HOOKER Header in the 80's, sold this Z1 with a mismatched frame title stamp in 2006. (Big Regret Now) Black foam seat, seamless gas tank. All blacked out, like I liked! Luckily it was restored with paint from Ralph @ Paintworz! Same pipe on bike.
Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!

Alphabet was decent.  Kind of like Winning and Jardine.

Can anyone tell by the number shown what bike they are for. I’d like to buy but want them to fit one of my 900/1000’s or my 750E. I’ve been looking for cross over pipes for a while
