Hello all,
I bent a couple valve seal springs that wrap around the top opening when putting new ones in.

Question: Is this the end of them? Should I replace or will they be okay.

Really don't want to have to reorder and redo but if I have to then it is what it is.

Thanks,
Jakob

They definitely will not function as "new" valve guide seals in that condition.  I personally would bite the bullet, reorder and chalk it up to a learning experience. They say experience is a very good, but sometimes expensive teacher!  At least you will then have peace of mind.

Thanks Mike,

I agree, these are relatively cheap compared to other parts that could get broken. Your input is greatly appreciated.  Gonna re-order, replace, get some peace of mind, then keep on learning. :):)

Thanks,
Jakob

One of our member sells Viton seal. I just can’t think of who. He advertises them in his signature.
