Yes, good price for a NOS head with cam caps.
I'm sitting on a smog head I have been waiting to paint gloss black and assemble whole, ready to run with shimmed stock cams.
I even milled the smog pockets off 1 valve cover, also have a stock valve cover for LTD or MarkII engine 79-80. Plus 30 tooth cam sprockets for a small pin crank engine that wants a head. smog ports are tapped with 1/8" pipe plugs to use or take out. Basically a bolt on head for a stock engine 73-80. One of those throw together projects. all parts same as built new with 12,000 miles.
The head had a scary broken spark plug that sat for 25 years. We burnt it out with an EDM. Sorry to babble and chime in on the ebay thread!

Well if I figured the exchange rate correctly, that head is roughly $3,700.00 USC! Good Lord the guy that bought the other one for $615.00 got a terrific deal!! I would have snapped that up if I would have seen it, but just no time to sit and search for stuff like that.

They come up fairly often but this one looks to be in very good condition, although the clamps are not original.
I have a couple of Z1B's restored, an '80 KZ1000LTD restored, a 1981 KZ550 restored and a 2008 KLR 650 for off road fun. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I think someone here was asking about having a deep sump fab’d up for a turbo.

I wonder why they cut the baffle out?

You cut the baffle out to run the oil intake back into the deep sump.
This makes it so the oil running into the back part of the motor is used to keep the motor from sucking air under extreme acceleration
Of course this means you need to make or buy a modified oil pump that is adapted to do this .
We used to remove the stock screen on the pump and weld on a plate over it with a
aluminum tube fitted and bent to go back and down into the deep sump.
Using a deep sump without the modified oil pump intake make little sense

Looks like the drain plug met Mother Earth a few times. Looks like a lot of work went into that pan.

I had a buddy with that style pan and he knocked it loose on the street.
Not totally , but enough to be a problem.
